Introducing #tweeterview

What is a #tweeterview?

It is an interview in tweets (see what I did there?), conducted on twitter via public tweets. A #tweeterview will be around ten fun, not your everyday, questions in order to get to know the person better in a way different than what you would usually see or read. Essentially questions will be answered via public tweets on Twitter, but the #tweeterviewee will also have the option to respond via voice-note(s) or video.

Why do a #tweeterview?

Your fans, friends and followers (new and old) will get to know you in a fun and entertaining way.

What will a #tweeterview look like?

Depending on how a #tweeterviewee prefers to respond, a #tweeterview will look a little something like this:

This is what it will look like if you respond via tweets.

This is what it would look like if you choose to respond via video. The video will be edited only to include the questions separately as text.

This is what it would look like if you respond via voice-note. The voice-note will be edited only to include me reading the questions.

Who can see a #tweeterview?

As mentioned earlier, a #tweeterview will be conducted on Twitter via public tweets, which means both questions and answers will be available to the public to see (unless a #tweeterviewee’s profile is set on private). And then all the amazing people reading this blog.

When can I answer the questions for a #tweeterview?

The #tweeterviewee can reply to questions in his/her/its own time.

What can I do if I want to do a #tweeterview?

Send me a Tweet (@riaan_bam) and let me know that you are interested.

Who is conducting the #tweeterview?

Hi, my name is Riaan, a (soon to be again) journalist from South Africa. You can read a short bio here.
